I'm with Lyn. I think that being friends with a guy you've known since you were kids is different to striking up a 'friendship' with a guy you meet as an adult.

Also, like Lyn, I believe that relationships can evolve and dynamics can change. Funnily enough, my most recent blog post is about a guy I've been friends with for many years. At first I saw him as nothing more than just a friend but recently, thanks to great times together, I've been looking at him in a different way.

That's just my personal experience, though!
