Oh Trish, such a poignant post. Thank you for sharing a little part of your life with us - I feel honoured. I've been through palliative care with my Dad, who passed away with cancer. It's a horrible way to die, but the doctors and nurses did all they could to make him comfortable. Personally, I think voluntary euthanasia should be legalised here in Australia. Shouldn't people have the right to choose how and when they die? If you're terminally ill and you know the pain and suffering which lays ahead, who would blame you for wanting to exit at a time and in a way which is much more humane?

Ah, good old blood and bone. My Dad (a very keen gardener) swore by it. His garden was in a rural area and he never had any trouble with roos or wallabies, even without a 22! Must have been the B&B. Good luck with the lawn :-)

Oh Pinky, you've captured every possible menopause symptom so accurately, yet managed to make them amusing. Well done! I agree with Kylz - why do we have to endure menopause? Isn't menstruation and having babies enough?
