The point being, that she's a model. She can work whatever outfit she likes, because that looks flattering on her body in a way that would look horrendous on many, many other people (ie, the other 99% of the population). Another point being- her sense of style is fairly indigenous to British people. Look at Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton. I hate to sound as if I am picking on Americans, but the majority just don't get it, and wouldn't unless you actually saw how people dress around here.
