I found this article to be VERY entertaining! And so true....for First (or Second) Timers.____I have to admit, now that I understand "The system", I LOVE Ikea. Like one commenter said, you can move a zillion times and not worry (too much) about the furnature. ____Personally, my Ikea furnature has made it through 6 moves and it has not outlived my taste. Most of it is light weight so GREAT for apartment dwellers, college kids, mobile professionals, and single women.____Even better, if you get some core pieces, you can change out parts as they age or become outdated (table tops, cabinet doors). You can even switch out drawers for doors or add doors to bookshevles etc etc. Heck, you can buy a grey sofa and 5 years later turn it into a beige sectional!!!____For me, for now, I will continue to support Ikea. .....i just really hate their crap is made in China. I felt better about myself when I thought it was made in Sweden.
