HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Comic : Absolution Fabulous

It's a really tough decision and I think it varies from person to person and creator to creator. For me it depends on how terrible they are, if it seeps into their work, and who you're hurting by not supporting them. I probably won't buy/see in theaters another Mel Gibson film because I'm not a huge fan and he seems really really hate-filled. I'm not buying anything more from Frank Miller because not only is he filled with hate, but his hateful opinions seep into pretty much all of his works(see Holy Terror). I'll probably see the Ender's Game movie because I agree with this article: http://chezapocalypse.com/why-i-wont-boycott-ende... that it's supporting more people that are good and desperately need that support than Orson Scott Card, and it seems everyone at Lion's Gate wants to like his work despite how awful he is. I think with some things you can separate the creator from the creation, but it's also about willfully supporting a detestable human being. And I really don't know if Boycotts work to change bigots' minds, but it is a deep personal decision not to willfully give them any of your money.

HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Comic : Yippee Ki-Yay Younger Looper

If you haven't seen Time Crimes, I highly recommend it. It's a foreign film, also on time travel, but the time travel is so tight with everything just fitting into place, it's one of the best uses of time travel ever and it's a great thriller.

SPOILERS If you're talking about the one at the end where Bruce willis shoots at the truck with the lady and the kid, I think the kid flipped the truck over with his psi powers, not the gunshot. END SPOILERS

HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Comic : The Fassbender And The Furious

What I hate most about the ending is that we don't see if David's head stops spinning and whether or not Shaw is dreaming. Way to leave it open guys.

#SPOILERS There is one continuous shot where it goes from Hawkeye to Black Widow to Ironan bouncing lasers off cap's shiled and finishes with Thor and Hulk crashing a giant eel ship. It's cinematic perfection.

#SPOILERS I love how Transformers 3 has like one building falling as their main set piece and they hype the shit out of it and Avengers has like EVERY building falling and they don't even care. That's not even the best part. "Oh yeah, buildings are falling? Some giant thing crashing into Grand Central? Big deal. Look what Hulk does to Loki."

I completely one hundred percent agree with you that it can be and should be compared to Transformers 3 garbage of a battle. I almost felt like Joss Whedon watched that scene, then rewrote and shot the entire movie just to show up with at Michael Bay's doorstep with a preview copy and yell "THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT AMATEUR. WHEDON OUT." And I loved the flow, the forward progression of the movie and the way that EVERYTHING MADE SENSE.

Ugh, yeah. This is super super true and ruins any kind of tension. Obviously they want the person who can give the best performance, but c'mon law and order.

I'm a fairly new reader so I don't get the reference to, "My Heart is a Hate-Filled Pineapple" But I really like it and it makes me want to take a look in the book to find out why it's named that. I highly recommend that.
