Landing pages are typically setup to have noindex/nofollow tags and are not created to fill the index with keyword matched phrases they usually can sit in a subdomain or external domain so don't benefit your SEO. Unlike doorway pages are usually sneaky redirects done without the visitors knowledge but can also be done for the purpose of gaining some SEO advantage...

There are a lot of things shared on Facebook that relates to those topics/themes so why not open up the platform a bit more, maybe a bit more monitoring is needed around these verticals but you can bet advertisers will face a much higher CPC when targeting these areas

Logical partnership but in web 2.0 logical is not always the outcome, while both are awesome companies i'm not sure the Chicago vs New York mentality might slow the deal. Saying that both are independent so it's a smarter move as there is likely to be less conflicts of interest but Living Social is another likely partner as they are based much closer to FourSquare in DC.

It seems it's rolled out officially for internal email which is great as it frees up Facebook.com for Gmail/Hotmail style platform... but to control spammers and squatters I would assume they are linked for Facebook vanity urls...

I was lucky enough to attend Affiliate Summit NYC and it was absolutely awesome one of the best conferences i've attended and was compared by several people at the event as like pubcon one event you must try and attend atleast once. No more coverage or discussions about the exact match domains and the algorithm slap Google has planned in time to impact their Christmas traffic surge?

ive seen them for a few of my searches, but the problem is the screenshot was checking how i ranked for terms that converted and showed all the competitors sites ive visited.... i guess i could have cleared the cache/cookies... i think its against terms that don't appear to always show AdWords but i did a check again today and it was gone and AdWords were back.

This could explain the drop in Zynga's userbase they closed the accounts and existing players might have had accounts on both platforms and now had to consolidate their account. Still for a company that sells virtual goods you would think they could run a simple changeover and assume most people would share the code. The game is a social game, so sharing free money is not really a stretch....
