I used to avoid LGBTQ books because they're not my "thing". Some people don't read books about dragons or any kind of fantasy - we all have our quirks. But I recently stepped out of my comfort zone and was amazed and wowed by NONE OF THE ABOVE and SIMON VS THE HOMO SAPEINS AGENDA. Both books have opened my eyes to a whole new lovely world of books. <3
