Oh cool, someone else had the same thought! Actually, I figured it was a picture of the Silence, but the theory still works. This also fits with something I noticed when I watched the prequel for the next episode... but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it Sufficient to say, the eyepatches show up again.
