Nigel Hawthorne and Whoopi Goldberg in the same movie? That's quite a disturbing thought!

Oh I have such fond memories of Jane Austen's World! Our school library had a copy that was constantly being poured over by all the girls who were studying (and, coincidentally, falling in love with) Pride and Prejudice. Enjoy your loot!

Getting a rather slow start here, but here's my first review for the challenge: Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell.

It seems that Diana Wynne Jones is a great favourite among book bloggers but I've never tried any of her books. She's definitely on my TBR list though!

Enjoy your loot!

Enjoy the Connie Willis novels! I just started reading her this year and am really looking forward to getting hold of The Doomsday Book, which is the title that first interested me in her writing and which has been on my TBR list for ages!

I've never read anything by Tan but I've definitely seen Tales from Outer Suburbia at the library before - that's quite the memorable cover!

Enjoy!
