Nah, you don't have to grow up. At least, that's what I tell myself when I ask myself the same question every year.

That's a very creative idea for a gender reveal!

LOVE!!! I miss Boracay! Breathtaking, isn't it? I was just thinking yesterday that I need to go back, and after seeing your video, I'm even more convinced it is a necessity!

I'm envious of your video editing skills. Love the music!

To those who are on WordPress (.com or self-hosted), I think my comments are going in your Spam folder. I have no idea why. I'm working my way through some of the entries here, and I've noticed that comments I leave on WordPress blogs disappear. "Comment awaiting moderation" doesn't appear either. I went on one of my inactive blogs, test-commented as The Reason You Come, logged in to said blog, and found my comment in the Spam section. So please check your Spam folder, as my comment may be there. Thanks!

Beautiful! I admire you and all mothers. My husband and I don't have kids yet. I want to have a baby, but I honestly am afraid to be a mother.

I usually don't read fantasy, but the dialogue here is realistic. The story has elements of magic, but the dialogue is very human. It shows how humans react when they are offended, or when they feel that they are wronged. Niko seems like a stubborn young man, not willing to take criticism. And Alden seems wise and patient, but he's exasperated from dealing with Niko. Niko is stumped in the end, which usually happens when the young realize age is wiser than they are.

Hi, I'm here from Red Dress Club. This gave me the shivers, too. This is really good fiction, good writing! This is a good portrayal of somebody who's mentally ill.

These are such beautiful words: "I hope he will find kindness throughout his life." Also: "I admire my son every day, because I know that if I had to carry his load I'd be cranky, mean, and mad. But he is not. He is unfailingly sweet, full of fun, and ready to try anything because he loves adventure and trusts his parents to keep him safe."

Oh, so that's the origin of the phrase. Thanks for clarifying. I've also always thought it didn't make sense, but still kept using it. Here from the Comment Hour. I love your blog design! :)
