Aww I love memories like this! I have so many memories associated with ornaments or just Christmas decorations in general. The one ornament that has to go on our tree is one of Santa riding a giraffes back, I love giraffes and it's just the cutest ornament... I've had it for years now too!

This is great! I used to be the receptionist at my church which is a mega church so it was basically a customer service role, and people would come in all the time asking for things such as money and what not and we had to say no so many times. I always tried to make sure I gave them phone numbers and locations of other places that could help them since we couldn't. Maybe that was my "window" :)

We put salt on cantaloupe and watermelon! It's so tasty! Never thought of pepper though! I definitely agree with ellesees about boiled peanuts! I will probably get some tomorrow at the fall festival I'm going to.
As far as other foods go, I really like sugar in white rice...sounds weird I know. But when I was growing up, if I was sick, my mom would make white rice and put sugar and butter in it. There is just something about it that is so comforting, and it always made me feel better. So I still do it to this day, like all the time, when I'm not sick too! :)

Such a great reminder to say thank you more! I have never really even thought to email/call a company just to thank them for a great experience. Will definitely be doing that!

Oh no I hate when things like this happens. Maybe at some point you can look back and laugh... maybe! Henry is super cute though, none the less.
