Sneaker Files : Air Jordan XI (11) 'Space Jam' - Restock

The prices gotta compete with what we see out there now from resellers across the web. If they're not doing better than the standards $250-$275, I really don't see the incentive. People will still buy, though. Just noting that it hasn't been impossible.

GeekTyrant : First Look: Trailer For NO STRINGS ATTACHED - News - GeekTyrant

So it's a movie based on a season one episode of Seinfeld? Co-starring Ludacris as the token black friend to really push the progressive, new-age angle. That seems about right.

Yeah, looks like I'm wrong on my numbers, too. Talked to my boy last night and he said these should retail at $209, max -- but most likely $200. Marquee's $30 shipping is out of control. I'll be patient and see what the situation is like in the Staten Island Mall. Hopefully it's as easy as getting the Pearls when they dropped last month.

Is that a promise? I found my pearls the weekend they dropped without a problem, but the Royals move fast. I don't wanna have my eyes closed when they restock.

Paying $330 (after shipping) to get these kicks from Marquee really doesn't seem all that bad considering how early we'll have them on foot. These don't drop till next spring and, when they do, they're still going to cost around $240 after taxes -- if you can actually get them before they sell out. In other words, for about a $90 difference, I'm buying them now and not caring.

NiceKicks.com - Online Magazine for sneaker news, history, & culture : Nike Finalizes Deal to Provide NFL Jerseys & Apparel

This is fantastic news. I remember back in the day when it was a free-for-all and brands made uniforms for specific teams. One of my aunts gave me a Troy Aikman jersey for xmas when Nike did the Cowboys' jersey, and it was the best quality replica I ever owned. I had a few Champion jerseys, but the Nike jerseys were heavy, the paint for the numbers were thick, and the swoosh will always be the classic. Reebok did a good job with the authentic jerseys, but the kings are back! And hopefully, right in time for a return to 2K sports for the NFL -- but that's for a different blog. And don't get me started on the return to New Era. Oh, happy day!

And about the Flint 13s. The more I see them, the more disappointed I am -- and I was looking forward to them since the release info first became available. People who paid the price to get them early have said the toe box leather feels as cheap as the white/varsity red 6s. And that grey suede on the back looks funny, too. They could still be a purchase, but I have to see (and feel) them first.

The Laser Blue AM90s will be purchased and treated with love. The release date is a little weird to me since they give off more of a spring/summer vibe. Love the mesh top on those, too. I'll buy them when they drop and keep them on ice till the warm weather comes back. I can't see myself walking around with them in the winter.

The red Air Penny III is probably my favorite of the bunch. I'd like them better with a more Cranberry color, though. And the Carnivores scare me beyond the point where a grown man is allowed to be scared. There's way too much going on with those kicks.

That's a daring colorway. On the one hand, I have to really match it well if I want to pull it off. On the other hand, I don't like walking around, looking like I really tried to match every shade and hue. You have to be extra careful to not look like a Hershey bar with these on. Might be fine for collectors; not so much for practical purposes.
