We have considered doing year round school ourselves! I love the idea of taking more breaks throughout the year. It especially makes sense when you have to avoid extreme weather, like we did in Alaska. Once we are settled for good this fall, I may need to pick your brain on the nitty gritty of your schedule.

If we tried to run after dinner, there would be some serious yuck happening during our run!!! I hadn't heard of most of those books, so thank you for sharing! My 5th is heading in to those grades and I don't mind checking out new ideas to encourage reading. Is the Worksheets Works free? I need to check that out. Oh, and hey, your photos won't display for me. Not sure if something happened at the Blogger level, or a glitch happened elsewhere. I would want to know if something like that happened ;-)

I am glad you missed much of that nasty weather!! My folks have the cold, but side stepped the snow. My parents dream of the days when they are also retired and can just spend their time cruising. They did one a few years ago and are hooked!!! I don't blame you on the count down ;-) I hope your health returns quickly!

Retirement sounds lovely as long as we get to be near my kids and hopefully their kids....I never thought I would think that far ahead ;-) I hope your mother-in-law recovers quickly and fully! My wrist is still giving me trouble nearly a year and some after the break. Joint areas can be a bit unforgiving!! Yay for family time and extended visits! Merry Christmas!

Oh man, I wish we had a B&N that was doing that!! That's looks great! We have actually been avoiding Disney for years now. Too many crowds and such, but I think we may be hitting it soon. We just have to see about budgeting and such.

Yes, go you on the clean house! Hubby and I joke that we have guests to force ourselves to do those deep cleanings ;-) I hope you enjoy the guests!!

Have I mentioned I really enjoy the couples FF post?? I hope I have. I hope your weekend involved plenty of time to write, to have fun, and to see each other as a couple. Very important with hectic schedules!!
