That would not work! The problem is the USA has the big stick. They have the demographics to be manufacturing juggernaut. They have the resources at hand that China and Russia do not have.

The US Navy is powerful enough to enforce any trade sanctions that the USA degrees.

With trade agreements with Mexico and Canada, North America could easily go it alone in the world.

The Americans woke to their vulnerability to a globalized market and are taking quick and serious steps to eliminate that.

Manufacturing is returning to the US and Mexico. US allies (Japan and Taiwan) are making high-end high, high-quality cyber chips that the Chinese can not make.

China is whining about Taiwan, and for what purpose? What would attacking Taiwan gain them? Over 70% of Taiwanese want no part of being ruled by gangsters like Xi. It would be horribly messy and ultimately useless for the Chinese to attempt an invasion of Taiwan.

We can complain all we want, but the USA will dominate regardless of what other countries do (unless the world is destroyed in a Nuclear war).

Remember BRICS? What happened to that? It never came to fruition the way it was supposed to.

Schooling the USA at this point in world history is virtually impossible.

Sadly the sanctions are working (not an endorsement). Russia is suffering, and the war in Ukraine (regardless of what many are saying) is going badly for the Russians.

China is in a severe economic downturn all because of direct and indirect sanctions and, of course, idiot CCP policies (like the one-child policy). Mexico has supplanted China as a US trade partner. That in itself should be very telling.

If one was to extrapolate out from the current situation North America stands to fare the best (although it could mean the dissolution of Canada and absorption into the USA)

I think more to it than that. Gore bowed out gracefully (just as scumbag) Nixion did in his loss to Kennedy; both were concerned about election irregularities, and both cited the need to keep the nation united.

Believing the 2020 election was manipulated is fine, except there is NO evidence of that of other Republican mal-contents like Trump and Kari etc., bellowing it happened while 60 plus Judges (Dem and Republican) have all asked the same question. Show me proof?"

Simple requirement why don't they do that? Reason? There is no proof!

This author has missed China's Demographic weakness (same as Japan's and many other countries, but not the USA); a severe lack of working-aged people in China will significantly impact China's ability to maintain its growth. Already Mexico has supplanted China as a US trade partner, and that shows signs of continuing.

I took up your challenge and revisited my research by looking at multiple sites (sources). The consensus is - over 70 percent of the people do NOT want to live under Chinese communist rule.

As far as a broader understanding. One man rules China - so it is essentially a dictatorship. To have a real understanding of China, you would know that the demographics of China spell China's doom because of stupid one-child policies and the like.

The USA is pulling their manufacturing back from Chia, and now Mexico has moved ahead of China in US trade. But of course, you knew that, right?

China will not invade Taiwan, and Taiwan will not rejoin China.

If the social-political situation were as you claim, then Taiwan would shake hands with the Chinese dictator and let him take over.

Nothing could be further from the Truth.

Just because it is beyond your understanding doesn't make it nonsense. :)

So to you, it is more important to buy into China's propaganda.

Let Taiwan hold a referendum to prove what you say. Because I don't believe it. No one in their right mind enjoying the success Taiwan has had would gleefully accept leaving a democracy for a one-person dictatorship (in the guise of Communism).

China also claims its right to dominate and control the South China Sea as a legit claim. Even though Vietnam, The Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore earnestly disagree.

With the way MSNBC's Mehdi Hasan exposed Tabbi's sloppy and error-filled reporting(which Tabbi DID NOT deny). It's a wonder anyone would be foolish to believe anything Tabbi says without a complete and thorough fact check.
