ZoKnowsGaming.com : [Updated] Warning To LEGO Harry Potter Players: Avoid The Basement Of Doom Glitch

I can't take credit for the solution, that came courtesy of JonTT on Gamespot, but I'm glad that my post has been helping people out of that awful room. From the comments I'm not too sure this solution is working for the Wii though. I haven't heard any more news on a patch release date or if there even will be one. TT say they are working to resolve the issue but whether that means anything or not I don't know. Considering how long its been since they were made aware of the problem it's not looking too good atm. It seems a sloppy way to run a business. Customer aftercare doesn't seem to be one of their top priorities. The LEGO games have always been very glitchy.

You do need the fall rescue red brick off for this to work since your character dying is part of the process. I had all the rest of mine on except for that and it worked for me straight away.

YES I AM OUT! Okay, I can verify this method actually works. Maybe it's just me that's dumb enough to read the instructions wrong but just to clarify you need to jump into the corner as Hermoine with the cat selected as your spell, not jump as the cat like I've just done for half an hour :( But it does work. I'M OUT! Oh yeah, Spenny is correct, you need to mash circle and ex too.

Okay so a post has appeared on Gamespot from a user called JonTT (possibly someone to do with developers Traveller's Tales?) that a few people are saying work. I'm currently working at the moment so I'm not able to confirm this yet, but here's the gist of it: - Play as Hermoine and select her cat on the spell wheel - Head over to the far left corner of the Basement Of Doom and jump into it - This will kill the character but while jumping rapidly press the 'release pet' button (circle for ps3) - It will take a few attempts but the cat should eventually appear in the classroom above - Then all you have to do is leave the classroom and continue the game This sounds the most promising solution I've heard so far but it'll be a while before I can test it for myself. If anyone can confirm it in the meantime that would be great :)

ZoKnowsGaming.com : New LittleBigPlanet Marvel Super Hero And Super Villain DLC Revealed

LBP is a great game if you love being creative, it's designed more for level creators than as a single player experience. If that's not your thing then there isn't much LBP can offer other than platforming and other user created levels. If it is your thing I'd advise waiting for LBP2.

well if you played and loved the first game this will be a must buy. LBP is designed more for the addictive CREATE mode than anything else and LBP2 is set to take that to a whole new level.

ZoKnowsGaming.com : Singularity Review – Find The Time For Something Amazing

Yeah I did think about giving it an 8 but I was kind of trying to weigh up what I thought of the game and what I thought others would think so I went for the middle ground and gave it a 9. But you are right, it was great for me, good for others. I am glad to hear people are at least playing it and enjoying it though, it seems like one of those games that will get mostly unnoticed. Thanks for the comment :)

For some reason I never played the Sly games, even though I have hundreds of PS2 games those slipped by me somehow so I'm glad they're getting remastered because I'll get a chance to enjoy them.

Yeah those would be great, especially the final fantasy games. I've actually heard a rumour that Ico and Shadow Of The Collussus are going to get the remaster treatment at some point soon which will be awesome.

ZoKnowsGaming.com : E3 2010: Square Enix’s New MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Announced

Yeah, XI came out a lot later in the UK, which is where I am. It took some to get here, for awhile it seemed it never would. I hear what you're saying about it being a hardcore game, that's mainly what put me off straight away. MMORPG's are complex and require a lot of learning to be able to play them by their own rights, XI just seemed to me to make the tutorial part impossible to get through without feeling like giving up. Since I don't really like PC games it didn't take much to put me off, despite the fact I have loved Final Fantasy my entire life. Hopefully they have learned from mistakes and listened to their community because XIV is a game I would love to be able to play. Thanks for the comments :)

Okay I don't even know where to start in reply to that unnessecary attack. Firstly I'm not a WoW fanboy, I haven't even played it for years. I'm not a big fan of PC games, WoW was the most popular so that was what I chose to play at the time. Virtually everything else you said is taken out of context, I said I didn't have the patience to perservere with XI, if I had I would have. I went straight from WoW to XI and as a result XI seemed unnessecarily complicated, the controls and gameplay were very hard to grasp in comparison to WoW's simplicity. In the first hour of any game you don't expect to have to wander around utterly lost and confused. You don't expect every other player in the game to ignore anything you say to them either so I got absolutely no sense of the things you say make it so great. Plus you'll find I'm one of the most open minded people you'd ever meet so that comment isn't exactly fair. I made a comment on my experience of the game, that's my opinion. It doesn't mean I'm right but I am the one writing this piece so it's my opinion that gets put into it. P.S. This piece isn't announcing the game, just providing an update of details.
