Hero Complex - Los Angeles Times : Wonder Woman: 40 years later, still a feminist flashpoint

Your right Joss Wheden did not invent the Avengers, Stan Lee did. One of the founding members of the Avengers is Janet Pym, know as the Wasp. She was totally ignored by Marvel Universe. Sadly

Hero Complex - Los Angeles Times : 'Princess Bride' sequel? Inconceivable! says writer William Goldman

Since Goldman always "claimed" he was simply transcribing a longer book, he could always sit down and give us the Lord of the Rings version of Princess Bride. Complete with long appendixes detailing the history of the royal families of both countries.

Kirk will die just like Theodore Roosevelt, death will sneak up on him while he sleeps. For had he been awake there would have been a battle.

theCHIVE : Hilariously ugly Renaissance babies (22 Photos)

I had to take an art history course in college (what a waste of time and money) But, it did give me this nugget of information. Since it was considered a sin to have a painting on ones self or family members, but a painting of a religious scene was not. So artists were hired to paint the family members into religious paintings. Usually the face of the baby was the face of the person paying for the painting. And, the resemblance when it was noted, was said to be unexpected.

For Baseball you had to go all the way back to the Giants ? Did you miss 2004 when the Red Sox were down 3 to 1 and won the last 3 games against the Yankees to go to the World Series. Or that just four games later Boston won it's first World Series since 1918!

Stepcase Lifehack : What Advice Would You Give To Your 18 Year Old Self?

I am a special case. When I was 16 I was diagnosed with lupus. I was told my life would be difficult, and that I would most likely be in and out of hospitals for much of my life. It was hinted at that I would not live a long life. That at best I would make it to my mid 40's. So I went from being a care free teen to a driven woman. Who did not die in my mid 40's but did end up to sick to continue working. So I would go and tell my 18 year old self to loosen up and live a little. Don't push your self to hard, stop and smell the roses. Really really explain to the guy who asks you to marry him at 23 what might happen in your 40's. Or don't marry at all.
