Ha ha! If I knew now, what I knew when I was a child...well, let's just say I would have helped more! Hope all is well with you! I adore your posts, and even though I'm not a mom, I live a vicarious mom life through your posts!
I was wondering what happened! I'm glad to see you posting, I love your posts! I raise my wine glass to you..my fellow introvert. :)
Ha!! Great list! lol...I've only ever attended one office party...and well...these rules FLEW out the window maybe 10 minutes in. Also...yes. Everyone is glittery. ...I never understood that one.
Happy Thanksgiving to you!!! Glad you could take a moment to post today! :) Have a wonderful day!
If we can't tip a minimum of 20% we just don't go out. I used to work in the food industry...it was terrible. I vowed I'd never do it again, and I haven't. But I also haven't forgotten what it was like. The general public is absolutely the worst to deal with...however..in my time in that industry, there were a few shining gems that made it all worth while. Customer's who asked me how my day was...and genuinely wanted to know the answer. They made it worth it. No...I don't want to be in the service industry ever again...but I tip my had to those that are. Well written!
Regarding number 2...you come on and visit Boston and we'll show you a daring good time! Ha ha! You can say anything you want here. ...you might get resistance and an argument...but it's expected you speak your mind.
Again...I'm not a mom...but really...I can see, you're a GOOD mom and you teach valuable lessons to your children in a way that doesn't hurt them or others. I only wish there were more parents like you. Your children I will be proud to have as leaders of my country...and damn....they'll be funny too. I know I'm just "some-girl-on-the-internet"...but for what it's worth...I think you're doing all the right things.
I love your blog. LOVE it. I am neither a mom...nor divorced...nor in school....you offer a side of life I'll never see. You're witty...even in shitty circumstances and you're strong...even when things should technically break you. I tip my hat...and everything else in your direction. I love reading what you post. Thank you for sharing what you do with the web!
