Oh, looks like you had fun with your family. Old Town is a great place to walk around and see tons of colors. As a matter of fact, I have not been in a long time (even though I go frequently to San Diego). Need to stop by again.

I like to visit cities that are not the capital. I have noticed the capital does not necessarily a good representation of what the country is all about. I see taking the time to explore Aalborg paid off. The place is super cute and the architecture is unique. SO much to see in Europe! My list keeps growing!

I really like this post! I was not familiar with this town at all so it was nice to learn about its half-timbered houses and the rose route. There are so many cute towns in Germany. I feel like living there to explore them all! #TheWeeklyPostcard

Thanks for all the ideas. I have been concentrating my efforts on Pinterest and SEO to grow my website traffic. I have been able to quadruple my traffic by working on those. At the moment, my pageviews have been "stuck" on the same number for the past months. Therefore, I am looking for additional ways to improve.

One definitely has to ask a lot of questions and do some research before engaging in activities related to animals. A lot of people take advantage of certain situations and want to make a quick buck. But, this people will be out of business if responsible tourists do their homework. #WanderfulWednesday

The photos you have here are awesome! I love those pine trees covered in snow. Now, 200 years of snow is a big deal for people who really love to ski. My friends at work would like to live in a place like this (they are die-hard skiers). My husband loves cold weather so this looks right on his alley. However, I think we would go straight to the game restaurant. #WanderfulWednesday

Your post got me thinking too! We are talking about natural phenomena. There is never a guarantee that you are going to see it. People get "disappointment" if they do not experience something like this. Of course, I would love to see the northern lights but I would fill my days with awesome things to do. If I see, well, that is an added bonus. I am glad you provided reasons why a place is worth even if you do not get to see the northern lights. #WanderfulWednesday

So many wonderful places! I have said I want to discover more of Europe's natural side. I have visited many cities in the continent but after seeing the beauty of Iceland, I want to spend more time outdoors. I know Finland has beautiful parks full of lakes (have seen them on Instagram). I hope to stop by one day. #WanderfulWednesday

I really like this part of Helsinki. I like to see what cities have to offer but felt awesome when I am able to be surrounded by nature. I know Helsinki is surrounded by islands and I will like to visit some of those. Good to know one can walk to this one.

It feels good when you finally make it to a place you have wanted to visit for a long time. I have read a lot of good things about Finland and would like to visit in the future (I am slowly trying to visit all European countries). The food looks delicious too! Did you try the reindeer? #WanderfulWednesday
