Not a big fan of Samsung hard drives myself, Western Digital has a much better track record.

I think this is the biggest mistake Digg has ever made. What made Digg a fun place was that everything was user submitted and has a certain quirkiness about it. By making all the popular stories fed through sites such as Mashable it removes the fun of exploring new things.

Those are some weird pictures of dogs. The reason I use Google Images over Bing images is the practicality of scanning the meta data and sources, for instance if I want to use an image for my website and I see one from Flickr I know that I am probably set as many are licensed under CC.

I guess it is probably a good move on their part but I prefer practicality over a pretty layout.

I can guarantee you from the web development aspect that Buzz is steadily becoming more relevant. I have seen it popping up more and more and as a result I had to add it to a few of my own sites a week or two ago. It is going to be a big deal once Google Me comes out.

That was brilliant for Jobs to point out, companies such as RIM don't have the balls to respond forcefully and now people will be searching for problems with other phones and each one discovered will help his case. Normally I am not a fan of him or Apple but that was a good diversion.

Nothing tickles MG Siegler like the opportunity to compare Apple products to the future of all computing.

Algae based fuels really are the future of green technology. Corn based ethanol simply doesn't provide that much energy compared to how much it takes to grow, harvest, and process it.

Algae can be grown in any shape container and grown anywhere with sunlight. It also helps with global warming, which means it could be quite profitable if carbon taxes pass through congress.

I still don't quite understand where the appeal is for Tumblr, it is so easy to set up a real blog that I don't understand why someone wouldn't just make a WordPress blog. Even a self-hosted blog on a dedicated server can be set up in under 10 minutes by a novice.

When was the last time you saw a tumblr blog show up in a Google search?

Good thing since it looks like Apple could possibly miss estimates for the first time in a while, the stock is in the tank today.

That sounds like an interesting business model on the part of Paice, come up with a good idea and promote it then wait for a company to start using it and sue them once they can no longer back out of it. That sounds more like an American firm than a Japanese one.
