Since November 2016, we have been sounding the alarm about the vast military agreements the EU has been pushing.

The UK should never have agreed to participate, yet ministers have given active consent for the UK to be a participant and have done so in FIVE separate agreements at the EU Council.

EU Defence Union is vast and complicated. A single page might reference four other prior plans or agreements which must also be read in order that the whole is understood. Financial elements link to structural elements, which in turn link to political decision making and joint purchasing and ownership of military assets. There is even foray into space, satellites, drones and “beyond state-of-the-art” defence technology.

When we present the plans to MPs, defence commentators and the media they are naturally baffled. This is how the EU gets its way.

"Shared values" means welfare. Huge numbers are living on taxpayers money and refuse to integrate. This doesn't sit well at all, makes us all feel rather taken advantage of. Nobody else would get away with it.

The right to choose. I don't see any reason why we can't have both. Non smoking and smoking pubs. What the non-smokers hate is the fact that given a choice, the smoking pub will always be more popular and that is something they just couldn't accept. Selfish non smokers have had the pubs to themselves for too long now, thousands have closed because of their stupid paranoia. This is supposed to be a free country, we should have a choice.

I would say as Britain's best selling newspaper, its representative of quite a large proportion of people you'd like to vote Conservative, including a huge number of women. Your snobbery towards the paper, belies the reason why your party is dying.

Before you start to celebrate this as some sort of clever coup, you should read the comments in the Daily Mail on the subject. All 2823 of them. They see this woman as another upper class, privileged, out of touch Tory. Your strategy is seriously flawed.

It won't happen. England is far too Eurosceptic and it would jeopardise Cameron's beloved EU Membership.

Yep. I can just see the British Muslim youth queuing to join the armed forces to fight for their cause. Or do you expect others to do your fighting for you? These are tribal wars steeped in Islamic fundamentalism, the West has no business getting involved..... unless of course, your fellow Muslims feel that strongly, they wish to join in the conflict in a British Uniform!

Yes, I'm angry. I'm angry with people like you who constantly whinge and harp on with your excuses. You can't even be bothered to try and solve something which is obviously not working. Everyone knows its not working as they witness rising voter apathy.. The political parties should be alarmed at the amount of voters who have lost interest in what is happening because they feel they have no say

Switzerland seem to manage a system that is as democratic as is feasible in this day and age.

The Party System is over. Its been corrupted and has essentially destroyed any semblance of democracy. The political parties should be dissolved. Essentially, all MP's should be independents that represent the wishes of their constituents.
