This sounds so like me. I get a sick feeling in my stomach just thinking about big events like a conference etc.
I prefer a smaller crowd, a dinner out and chatting about anything and everything... kinda like we did a few years ago when you and Laura where at Disney and we met for dinner! :)
I soooo get this. I’ll be 39 next month and I’ve been thinking about this a lot. In some ways it’s easier to let go and wonder what others are thinking but in some ways I still struggle with it. I don’t have the reader’s... yet. My eye doctor has already warned me that it’s on the horizon. And yes, I love reading YA novels too. You keep doing you! xo
Yay! So happy to hear that. Cannot wait. From time to time I would come here to check if I just simply missed a new post. Hope all is well!!! xoxo
I love your stories and reading your words. I hope to one day have an autographed copy of one of your works in my hand!!! :)
Love your weekend pursuits. My weekend was rather full and of the "mommy gets a turn" variety. Saturday early dinner and wine tasting with friends and Sunday, early dinner and U2 with friends. It was most wonderful. But I like the simpler things on a normal weekend... a slow and leisurely cup of coffee on the porch in the morning, a walk on the beach or at the wetlands and just enjoying summer sunshine and happy times.
Your writing is most definitely worthy of praise. I always enjoy reading what you weave together. :) I recently received a few compliments on some of my photos and it meant the world to me. I'm still so hesitant to put my photos out there... and when I do and get a compliment or two it makes my whole day. xoxo
Oh, so much goodness here... I'm a total phone screener too and my confession: I hate talking on the phone... to anyone! Text, email, DM... all good, but don't call or Skype! :)
Woohoo for Wordpress. If you need help with anything send me an email, I'm not a pro but I know my way around WP a bit. 😉
I've had Black Hole Sun stuck in my head for days now. Still stuck in the Chris Cornell worm whole... such a sad thing and big loss.
But also Muse and 30 Seconds to 'Mars after an amazing concert this past Saturday.
xoxo
Yeah. Love me some new shoes. My dog just chewed up my favorite pair of flip-flops and she's not normally a shoe destroyer. Good news is that I now get to buy a new pair. :) Love your sandals. Hope the weather holds.
I'd love to have an outdoor fire pit area and an outdoor kitchen. We've been throwing different ideas around and hopefully can make one or the other work out at some point. I love the way the set up in the last pic is. That water feature just screams " come, relax for a bit." :)
