I still don't understand why middle-aged women can't just have a little oestrogen, just enough to help with 'things' but not be HRT levels. I think we're doing it tough!
Wow, I thought I was the only one with vacuum cleaner/skirting-board/door-frame/rug rage. Broke one yanking it too hard once. I've had it since puberty and it appears to be inoperable. So glad there's someone else. :)

That view of the water through the trees was enviable, yes, I'm insanely jealous. But it's going to take me a while to get over the Nordic Nymphs. Is our culture too uptight? I'm keeping my bunions to myself, though.

It's worthy of a thesis, isn't it? I offered cars etc to my girls, but they only wanted the hot pink Barbie car. They gave Ken a terrible time, made fun of him playing Barbie role plays now I think on it. He looked so conceited, they tell me now.

No wonder you and Scotto organise the posters. They're hilarious! I agree with you, without an afternoon nap, it's hard to make it past 10.30. Not like uni days, but we slept in something shocking those days.

Definitely a dog lover. But our two dogs are poles apart. If I was stuck, starving on a desert island with my Jack Russell, we would die together, hand in paw. But my corgi would start to nibble at my toes in my sleep. I'm still traumatized by Lassie.

Oh, the days of innocence, when toilet rolls in school weren't questioned (Iike the days of double-dipping). I hope the eruptions are worth all your hard effort!

Your post is very influential, Pinky. Before sunset today I will have eaten one - because you've reminded me of the tuckshop joy of a hot sausage roll, that vinegar twitch in the nostrils from the tomato sauce. Yum! I may even buy some Freckles to finish off. :)

Pablo Pinky and Cranky Pinky (the fury) are my favourites, but others come very close. I think your self-deprecating (ok, I had to check that spelling) humour is a tension release for us all, and you are brave enough to remind us we're not alone. More Pinky-poses please. :)

I'm a convert after experiencing the end of Halloween and then Thanksgiving in St Augustine, Florida (with Christmas on the horizon in New York). They know how to have fun, how to make fun out of nothing. It was Happy Holidays for 3 months.

We don't have two stories but we have what my husband calls his dungeon. Realised today how Addams family that sounds. I need a bell that rings down there for dinner.
Yes, the pale-faced teenager lurching unexpectedly from a bedroom is disconcerting. At least he was alone, ha ha. :)
