I lived in Canada for a while, so I'm a big fan of loonies and toonies! Also, American money IS dirty. And just feels cheap and ratty to me now. And it smells funny. And I had no idea I had such strong feelings on this topic! Ha!

One of my biggest pet peeves is when foreigners fold up money here. Worse yet, when they stick it in weird places and it gets all crunched or even damp--the horror! I've really come to love the clean crispness of Japanese bills, I even bought a wallet shaped specifically so that they wouldn't get bent. I'm kind of weird about it, but then again that's kind of normal here, I think!
