That's tough when it's family, especially from the other side. I've had to hide a few people on facebook, at least until after the election.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi there, Captain Mal.

Glad you stopped by. Thank you for such a great comment! Seriously. I do appreciate the time you took to comment.

Let's start at the beginning. You ask, "How can Thor and Loki be considered gods...?" "They think us immortals" says Loki. You then say, "That would seem to be very strong evidence that they're not gods..."

Great points. I'm glad you brought them up. But I'm afraid you are wrong.

In Norse Mythology gods were mortal. http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/the-good-th... (I thought you'd like a link to that little nugget. Third paragraph.)

Gods died all of the time in Norse Mythology. Odin died and then resurrected. And Loki, well he was known as the trickster god.

Loki was able to change shapes. He took on the shape of a mare where he gave birth to an eight legged horse, Sleipnir. The father was stallion Svaoilfari.

Loki also was responsible for the death of Norse god, Baldr (Balder) the god of light, joy, purity, beauty, innocence, and reconciliation.

Loki tricked Hod, Baldr's brother, to throw a mistletoe dart that pierced Bladr's heart. Death by mistletoe, that sucks.

Okay, now that we have that out of the way.

I am a tad bit full of it. :)

Don't get me going about Bush.

I agree 100% about Captain America's character. He was the best fleshed out character of the group.

That home is so cute. Good for you all of you.

I wish we had a bonus room. Most of the time around here it looks like Toys r us threw up. Too much stuff.

Good luck with the move!

Except that Loki is a god, both in Norse mythology and within the Marvel Universe.

Check these links out, http://www.pantheon.org/articles/l/loki.html http://marvel.com/universe/Loki http://ifanboy.com/articles/marvel-mythology-vs-n...

I do apologize that I do not have facts to send you about what is in the mind of the Atheist director. I guess that will remain a mystery.

Blackened Christian heart...bravo! The first step is acknowledgement.

I caught my son singing the theme song the other day. That was funny. Actually, he knows more words to it than I do.

Thanks for stopping by! Sheldon rocks!
