So I used to be against making 'healthyfied' desserts because I always found them lacking in taste but lately have been tinkering with recipes subbing coconut oil for butter, using less sugar, etc. and have been really pleased with the results. I've been toying with the idea of buying a donut pan for baking donuts but not sure how close to real donuts they will be? How do you think the texture of baked donuts compare to fried donuts? Is it just the outside that is different (I imagine less crispy/greasy) or is the whole texture of the donut different too?

Always make these with cream cheese and my old roommate used to use vegan cream cheese but peanut butter seems like it would work just as well and taste amazing. Glad to see these worked out :)
