I have read Schrodinger's rapist a few times and in context and I am afraid I still find It extraordinarily patronising to me as a man.

Most men are extremely aware of social cues than Schrodinger's rapist gives them credit for. In fact most men have to be as they are far more likely to be the victim of a violent attack by some random stranger than women are and so tend to be extremely vigilant, particularly in potentially dangerous situations.

The fallacy that the Schrodinger's rapist tale makes (and it's a dangerous fallacy) is that most rapes are committed by strangers which, of course, they are not. Rapes are far more likely to be committed by someone in whom the woman already has some trust.

Presumably they have all the responsibilities of a full blown person as well. Also, will their age be in negative numnbers?
