I've been watching the TV series and it is excellent! Well done and engaging, with some real issues, but still light. It's a good counterpart to the books, I think.

You know, I wouldn't particularly categorize Cullen as overly intelligent. He is bright and perceptive, but no genius. He's more like Holden Caulfield than Oskar Schell. I don't read much YA, but his voice seemed fresh and real and I really enjoyed this book more than I thought it would.
