JeffRandleman.com : Going Paperless Can Be Easy!

It sounds like you are off to a great start! I saw the link to Evernote Essentials - I just wasn't sure about spending the money without really knowing what was inside. Plus, I have MS OneNote and it has a lot of functionality that I have really been liking. I am still trying to figure out the best set of tools to use. So, I am curious, what sort of things were talked about in Evernote Essentials that you weren't expecting or that you think will change how you will use Evernote?

Family Synergy : Listen to Your Child's Heart, It May Save Their Life

I have been trying to be more intentional with this lately - especially with my oldest son. It is so easy to cut him off in mid-sentence just to convey that "I'm right and you need to stop and listen to me". Sometimes I have to do this; but, most of the time is just frustrates the situation more. I have realized that this sort of action actually sets the opposite example for my kids. If I want them to listen to me, I must first listen to them. This gives them the opportunity to express their thoughts in a more complete and healthy way; and, I usually learn more about my kids this way.
