Nobody dares to name the concessionaire and its majority shareholders. So we can assume it's the usual suspects.

A hierarchical, patriarchal and essentially feudal system breeds moral degradation, hypocrisy, mediocrity, incompetence, stagnation, disintegrity - and that's why Malaysia under BN misrule is disintegrating before our very eyes and noses. I have many former friends who rationalize their support of the status quo by casting cynical aspersions at the human shortcomings of opposition icons like Anwar Ibrahim. It's not Anwar who will save us - only we can save ourselves from choosing a shortcut to Hell by keeping quiet while the Devil We Know keeps robbing us of our money, dignity and freedom with impunity.

Not satisfied with DDoS attacks against online news portals, Umnosia has stooped to RoS attacks against any party who threatens to take away their toy palaces, shiny costumes, glittering jewellery, and make-believe ketuananan & kejayaan - which have all but ruined a once prosperous and harmonious nation.

The only ideology that must be rejected by all is Umno's ridiculous Ketuanan Melayu ideology. All other schools of thought at least contain a degree of truth and validity, Especially stupid are those who have been brainwashed into embracing mindless capitalism while rejecting communism as godless." Both ideologies are materialistic - only difference being one is at the input end, while the other is at the output. Capitalism involves the accumulation of wealth (whether in terms of air, food, knowledge, or possessions) while communism advocates the equitable redistribution of wealth (so that every part of the body politic receives the nourishment it requires). Whether a political system leans left or right, it can only work when the individuals who serve as policymakers possess integrity. ithout this crucial ingredient, both capitalism and communism will only bring suffering to the masses.

Sensible advice, Karim. But so much more unlikely to be heeded than my own - which was to convene a Emergency Council of Concerned Bomohs to compel Najib to arrest the crooked tailors Dr Mahathir & Daim, sack the present Attorney-General & Inspector General of Police, appoint a special panel of independent citizens (including respected public leaders like Hisham Rais, Ambiga Sreenevasan, Kua Kia Soong & Zaid Ibrahim) to oversee the selection & shortlisting of suitably reform-minded candidates to rehabilitate the AG's Chambers as well as PDRM; sack the entire Election Commission, replace the current heads of MACC, duct-tape Nazri Abdul Aziz's mouth; then fire himself & acceptt responsibility for the gross misconduct of his former ADC Musa Safri & his robocop bodyguards Azilah & Surul (which led to the cold-blooded pre-meditated murder of a foreign national - yes, that Mongolian woman). Is this too much to ask as a gift on Malaysia's 50th birthday?

Deputy Public Prosecutor Noorin Badaruddin seems to have a personal grudge against Anwar Ibrahim. She even classifies Putrajaya's appeal against his acquittal as "a serious case." I suppose to Najib it's "serious" because Anwar still poses a "serious" threat to Umno's hegemony! Anybody else would regard cold-blooded pre-meditated murder as far more serious. Why didn't Noorin Badaruddin or her boss Gani Patail appeal Razak Baginda's acquittal. More pointedly, why did the AG see fit to declare BEFORE THE TRIAL BEGAN that there were only 3 individuals involved (Azilah, Sirul & Razak Baginda)? Vomit-inducing scenario.
