A founder of a local Tea Party has agreed to meet with Occupy Houston. Hopefully, more will be willing to meet. Yeah. Occupy Houston is a non-violent group. We have common issues. Especially about the bailouts. Plus, giving them the opportunity to get more edjumicated. Portland, Oakland and New York City? Y'all are on your own. Please wish Houston, luck!! *Sigh* Once again, I will be contacting Arleen's assistant, Amanda, on Monday. 281-447-1906 If anyone of y'all calls her, please be nice to her and don't shoot the messenger. She's a really nice lady. It's Arleen, the queen of mean, that you have your beef with. Trust me, she won't call you back. When I went to the rally at the cemetery on th 4th of July, there was a sign on the chapel that informed people that it would re-open on July 5th. When I went on July 5th, it was locked and the sign was still in the window. I went before work on July 6th and it was indeed open and sign removed.I immediately went to the Admin building which was locked up as tight as Ft. Knox. I managed to get one of the workers to find Amanda for me. Arleen was back from her "extended" vacation but was meeting with attorneys to come out with a statement. And now this????? Kuddos to Culberson and kuddos to Michelle for not letting this story disappear.

I was there and had a great time. Lots of support for our troops. I was having a hard time choking back the tears when Gold Star Mom Debora Wallace was speaking about her son who became a citizen 12 yrs. to the day (the 4th of July) and didn't want to join just any Marines. He wanted to join the United States of America Marines. Very moving. I'd also like you to know that a few atheists came out to support our troops. One of the best signs that I saw was: Arleen: Jesus love U. Everyone else wants you fired. Don't forget that Arleen is s'pose to be back to work today at 8am, after her vacation from last week. I hope that she's well rested, bless her heart. :) We won't stop our rally's until she is fired. Don't Mess With Texans. Thank goodness I live in Texas. All my friends have Pick-em-up-trucks and have helped me move a few times. Mine is a 1999 Ford F-150. I mostly use it to haul a 1200-1600# round bale (yes, it is strategically placed) or help my friends move. It's paid for. What can I say? :)
