Trembley was a horrible leader and strategist. Once a man was on first base, he would allow the double play, rather than seek after a sacrifice bunt. He might have had some quality as a bench coach, but the fact that the Orioles lost 30-3 to the Texas Rangers on the day when Trembley was confirmed as the new head coach of the Orioles speaks for itself.

Many people lose their immunity to the pertussis vaccine. There are many adults walking around who are not immune to pertussis -- but whooping cough is not a serious illness for adults. Therefore, you can't blame non-vaccinated children only, since many adults are also potential carriers.
