Its too bad I am banned basically. This post is why Atheist's can't win Christians over. Rather, it shows why. No Christian is a Sign of Weakness and None of them Think of Forgiveness Negatively. The Phase God Forgives, I Don't means God is the one who Ultimately offers Forgiveness of Sin and No Man can Forgive Sin. its not about them saying I don't forgive because I see Forgiveness as a Bad Thing, its saying I am not able to Forgive You, only God can, but God Will.

No Christian actually Thinks Forgiveness is a bad Thing.

This is why Atheist Arguments tend to Fail.

This is like that John Adams quote, “This would be the best of all possible Worlds, if there were no Religion in it”!!! and then saying Adams was Anti-Religion.

Never Mind the word Religion didn't quiet mean what We mean by it in the 18th Century, the Fact is, Adams Immediately Contravenes this.

"Twenty times, in the course of my late Reading, have I been upon the point of breaking out, “This would be the best of all possible Worlds, if there were no Religion in it”!!! But in this exclamati[, Start insertion,on, End,] I Should have been as fanatical as Bryant or Cleverly. Without Religion this World would be Something not fit to be mentioned in polite Company, I mean Hell. So far from believing in the total and universal depravity on human Nature; I believe there is no Individual totally depraved. The most abandoned Scoundrel that ever existed, never yet Wholly extinguished his Conscience, and while Conscience remains there is Some Religion.'

By the way, for Clarification, Religion basically Meant a System of Moral Teachings. While the Theological Aspects were generally Included in Religion, the Focus was on the Moral Teachings, not the Ideas about God.

Atheists need to Realise, if Something Sounds too Good to be True, it Probably is, and Should Fact Check before making such Posts.

I Find it Interesting that You post this Truncated Wrote, which is Truncated, the ... means parts are Omitted, to Praise Jefferson for His Views on Religion. Its Obvious You don;t Know what He's Talking About. Jefferson actually wasn't an Atheist and Condemned Atheism in the same Letter, and the rest of it sounds very Christian.

"to talk of immaterial existences is to talk of nothings. to say that the human soul, angels, god, are immaterial, is to say they are nothings, or that there is no god, no angels, no soul. I cannot reason otherwise: but I believe I am supported in my creed of materialism by Locke, Tracy, & Stewart. at what age of the Christian church this heresy of immaterialism this masked atheism crept in, I do not know. but a heresy it certainly is. Jesus taught nothing of it. he told us indeed that ‘God is a spirit,’ but he has not defined what a spirit is, nor said that it is not matter. and the antient fathers generally, if not universally, held it to be matter: light and thin indeed, an ethiriel gas; but still matter."

Does this Really Sound like He's Espousing an Atheistic VIew?

He is Denying God is Immaterial, not Denying God exists.

'The term Materialism didn't Mean what You Think it Means.

Thomas Jeffers\on was Rejecting Idealism in Favour of Materialism, which Means He believes God has Substances and is Material, not Immaterial like The Idealists say. The Idealists Said that Thought Precedes and is Superiors to Material Form.

So, should we Teach The Founding Fathers Views of Religion in Schools? If so, We'd need to Teach Jefferson was a Christian who rejected Idealism in Favour of Materialism.

This is another Example of how Militant Atheists who need to Find ways to Diminish Christianity aren't as Rational as they say they are. Nor do they do the Amount of Research they say they do. Pulling a quote Out of Context, that was written in the 18th Century using language we don't use now, to say some Hero of History was Really An Atheist, or at Least Antipathetic to Christianity, or to Depict some Villain of History like Hitler was a Devout Christian, is Rather Trite. Especially given these Quotes are parts of much Larger Works, which often Contradict the Claims being Made of them.

Unfortunately, Thomas Jefferson was not a Heathen. This is another Example of how Atheists can be Hypocritical. After All, You Will Critisise "Religious People" for Believing Things with No evidence and Never doing any Research, just Believing what Their Church and their Pastors say. Then when an Atheist Posts Something like This, You Believe it with no Evidence.

You don't Do any research, You don't Fact Check, You do nothing but Believe, Because its what You want to Hear.

Yeah but, The Social Movement to Tear Others Down began with The Atheist Community. You still Endlessly attack "Religion", You attack The Bible, You Attack Christian Beliefs, and You Attack Christians themselves.

You also Tear down Historical Figures, who were Christian, or Christianity in General, by endlessly talking about how Bad they were.

You may say this is different, as Critism of Religion is Justified, because of all the Harm it has done and Still does, but the same can be Said By those who Tear Jefferson or other Historical Figures Down. They'd use the same Tactics.

And Modern Social Justice Warriors did emerge from Atheism Plus, which grew from The New Atheists.

To be honest, whenever an Atheist says they read the Bible, I roll my eyes and wait to hear about how the Bible forces a Rape Victim to Marry her Rapist r how it says if you wear mixed fibres you should be put to Death. To be honest, whenever an Atheist says they read the Bible, I roll my eyes and wait to hear about how the Bible forces a Rape Victim to Marry her Rapist r how it says if you wear mixed fibres you should be put to Death.

I roll my eyes not because when someone Reads the Bible those Verses are amongst the worst and ones sane people bring up, but because the very moment they are invoked I know I've been Lied to and now have to endure for yet another out of Hundreds of occasions the same tired, boring Arguments this Atheist got from an Atheist website. Half the Time they will say they never go to Atheist websites, or even deny that they exist.

Militant Atheist pretend to have read the whole Bible, but they haven't. f they had they'd realise the Bible doesn't condemn you to Death for wearing Mixed Fibres, or that Judges doesn't say God can't stop Iron Chariots.

When an Atheist today tells me they have read the whole Bible, it general means they went to Aaron ra or Matt DIlahunty, or visited Skeptics Annotated Bible or evil Bile, and just repeat what they are told.
