I bookmarked this because it looks so light and beautiful, plus, I already have all of these ingredients. Thanks Buck! :)

I have never heard of gingerbread scones. I love scones, too! Nice to find a new recipe and so different from the types I have baked before. I would probably exchange the milk for heavy cream ... just because I like fattening foods. I can't help myself. I can imagine how the flavors will taste when I pop a piece into my mouth. Good one Buck! thanks Mama Noonie!! :) P.S. We called my Mother's Mother, Mama. It is a southern thing.

Even for me (who loves garlic) That's a lot of garlic. I don't have rapid rise yeast, but I'm going to get some. I love hot out of the oven yeast breads! That's why I bake ... one of the reasons anyway.

They are my favorite meow friends and when she said she would like to nom-nom on my cookies, I told her I would look for some kitty cookie recipes so I could bake and mail them to Florida. Do you have a recipe please, Buck?

Oh Buck!

Thank you for my beautiful cookbook. It arrived on my birthday, August 13th. My Daddy was born in 1918 - 1977 and my Sweet Mother was born in 1920 - 2006 and it's been four years without her. So glad you hold your parents in such honor and love. We are so blessed to have had parents like ours. They grew up in difficult times but they raised us right.

I wrote about you here: http://skdd.wordpress.com/2010/08/14/the-legacy-o...

I hope we'll stay friends forever, Theresa

Not only would I have slapped the granddaughter, I would have kicked her out of my home. She actually punched her Grandmother after being slapped. Sounds like they arrested the wrong person. She was abusing her Grandmother and disrespecting her in her own home! the police are insanely STUPID!

If they prosecute Theresa Collier any further they should riot in the streets!

This is my opinion. I would NEVER have spoken to my Grandmother this way. NEVER! What is the world coming to?
