I think the Sefardi Jews ought to return to the Arab countries that expelled them after centuries of racism, violence, bigotry and hate. I imagine the problems will be solved in short order. Unlike the European Jews, they understand how the Arab world must be dealt with. That is why within the next few years we will see a Sephardi Prime Minister in Israel. Maybe that is why in many neighboring Arab countries there are concerted efforts to rehabilitate desecrated cemeteries a and other Jewish religious sites- Syria and Qaddafi's Libya are prime examples. It was ironic when the Tunisian Prime Minister publicly humiliated Khaled Meshall for his blatantly anti Semitic remarks. The same kind of remarks you make. Know what I mean? Sure you do.

I happen to agree, somewhat. My belief is after 60 plus years of rejectionism it may be time to formally annex some of the settlements. Beinart and Goldberg believe the promise to 'finish what Hitler started' and 'Allah in Heaven, Hitler on earth' are merely rhetoric designed to inflame political passions. Both Beinart and Goldberg refuse to acknowledge the reality of terror that preceded 1967, the reality that occupation was brought on by a war imposed on Israel and the reality that the Palestinians refuse to meet the minimum efforts for a permanent peace: *Cessation of terror *Secure borders *Diplomatic recognition Which of those things is too onerous or humiliating a burden for the Palestinians to bear? There is very little that distinguishes Hamas, Jihad, PFLP, et al, and the KKK save for the reality Hamas, et al. have killed far more Jews than the KKK has killed blacks. Beinart and Goldberg are saying it is high time we blamed the victim. This exercise is no more than the Beinart/Goldberg shuffle. I do admire the fancy footwork. That said, it is time to get back to the real world.
