I'm with you. I'm not squeamish at all, don't believe in ghosts, etc. Plus, if you think about it, there are terrible things happening in lots of houses and apartments, all around us, every day. We just don't usually know about it. Are the vibes worse because the bad thing that happened was publicized after the fact? I don't know...

You know, now that you mention it.... if 'more adult' and 'French-y' are goals/desirable options.... now I'm picturing you with your abundant pin straight hair, cut precisely into a perfectly angled, swingy bob, with little or no eye makeup and your dark or bright lipstick.

If you are not ready to cut it off yet, but want a bun look that will stay put in your lovely abundant-but-fine hair, try one of those weird net doughnut things. I have a couple in different sizes, and they are a go-to for me. The spin-pins recommended above will work with them, and I always put my hair in a pony first to reduce slippage. And they are cheap! I got all three of mine at the dollar store. :)
