When I worked in the computer lab on campus, I'd have to walk over to one of the other buildings to check that lab and I'd always take the longest route possible so I could just get up and go for a walk and be outside the building, because the lab didn't have any windows and during the summer especially being in a windowless building sucked. So walks to and from the other building.

Interacting in fandom, I've never really gotten internet fame but I do get some feedback on my contributes to fandom. Mainly for the fanfics I've written. I've gotten a lot "your fanfics are great and I love your writing" type messages and I've also gotten "your writing sucks and you should kill yourself" type messages. I definitely get more of the former. When I do get the latter I try to ignore those as best I can unless I feel like the message is one that I need to address but usually there's no point, it's just someone wanting to get a reaction out of me so not giving them a reaction is better. I had one anon for a while who kept sending hate about my writing after I'd gone to bed so it'd be the first thing I'd see in the morning and I never responded so they eventually quit sending the hate because there wasn't any benefit for them.

There was an event that got one of my fanfics attention that I would have preferred it not get. The initial react from those involved was actually okay, but it was the internet's reaction that was worse though luckily most of it wasn't directed at me directly, it was indirect "you suck, you need jesus, please kill yourself" so I was easily able to avoid it and block it.

When I first start working somewhere and the management seems to forget that I am a New Worker Droid that hasn't been programmed yet being left alone is The Worst because I know I'll fuck something up and be yelled at even though it isn't my fault. But once I've been successfully programmed, Leave Me The Fuck Alone To Do My Damn Job and it will get done without management breathing down my neck.

Though my last job (which was a work study job at my university in the computer lab) it didn't help that our section at one of the smaller campuses functioned differently than things do at the main campus so when shit went wrong they'd be like "Why didn't you do X?" "Because we don't do X. We do Y." "What's Y?" *long explanation of Y* "You should do X" "We can't do X and I just explained to you why we can't do X." "Well you should do it anyway!" Worse was the supervisor above us who didn't actually know what we did 90% of the time because he left the supervising to the student supervisor which became a major issue when the good one graduated and had to be replaced and the replacement only wanted the job so she didn't have to deal with the students in the lab anymore. I left not long after she was hired because I was tired of taking the blame when shit went wrong because she'd told me incorrectly or hadn't know herself so I'd had to make something up. Honestly it made me miss retail because at least being able to blame corporate was a valid option that didn't bite me on the ass.

The only thing I currently have the free version of that I won't upgrade is Dropbox. I just occasionally move camera uploads and other extra files that I no loner need in DB to my external hard drive to free up space.

I recently missed class because I was too sick to drive to campus (an hour drive one way) and people noticed I was gone because I never miss class. It freaked them out.

As a junior in college, my current creative time is whenever I can fit it in. This week is spring break so it's pretty much "do all the creative things as humanly possible!" since I don't have any pressing homework I /need/ to do this week. During an average school week, then it'll be in between classes or as rewards for completing homework things. Sometimes I will do some writing on a story while I'm meant to be watching the boring film in whatever class that doesn't require note taking during the film. It's that or I fight trying to stay awake sitting in the dark at 9:30am. Weekends tend to be the main creative time because I have homework and housework but more down time in between those things vs the week when I have classes. (Even my creative writing class is more talking about creative writing in class and doing all the actual creative writing outside of class.)

I do interact in some online fandoms with people who share my interests and there are sometimes chats where we all spew ideas at each other that we may or may not write if we ever finish the current writing think we're meant to be encouraging each other to work on (which does happen, we do some sprints to be creative but then there's lots of chatting and procrastinating.)

Probably Mac & Cheese with chopped up hot dog pieces in it or as I call it Mac & Dogs.
