Yeah, I think I mentioned before my boyfriend makes about $80 on a weeknight, which is like 10pm-2am. It's not all party people on the weekends--he mostly takes people to airports or hotels at night and during the day it's people trying to get to work or to lunch. We figured for that shift he chose for himself made him about $2,000 a month. And you can work any shift you want obviously, so... yeah, it's cool. Give it a try.

"Needing to do something/fix something" more like guilt tripping you for having emotions omg. What's so hard about saying "I'll miss you too, we'll be together soon!!" or "actually I need the space"?? A "fix" includes a non confrontational response to a non confrontational emotion.

I just wanted to drop a work story here for all to enjoy...
I work at a clinic that provides abortions, among other things. We have two regular white male protestors. The most senior coworkers will talk over any patient saying they were annoyed or saddened by their protests because "that's just Bill and Gary, they've been coming here for years, they're teddy bears, we exchange christmas cards" and kind of act like maintaining the status quo is the most important, mature thing to do.
Gary came to protest wearing a homemade Army of God shirt, which is a terrorist organization that promotes killing abortion providers.
One of my coworkers quit over this.
The other (older, in positions of power) coworkers are defending the protestor.
I am leaving at the end of July if I don't get murdered first!! Send me flight attendant job vibes!! Thanks America and southern women culture!!!!! <3

Idk if this will make you more upset, but if you have a car and a smartphone, Uber is a good way to make money.
My boyfriend started driving for them and he really loves it. For instance, just at night on Wednesday he made $80. If that was the average (which obviously will be much higher on weekends), he would make over $2,000 a month just working part time. I just wanted to throw that out there if you are needing money in the interim.
