This cracks me up. Just this afternoon, I found a printed out email exchange of when we were first dating 6 years ago... (No mistake that our 5 year anniversary is this week...) We were ridiculous. HA.

Dating advice: Ask Jesus for help-- and don't date just to date-- go after the one Christ has for you :-)

I do a lot of encouraging/ministering to friends/people around me... And right now we are in the craziest ministry storm yet. There have been many days where my flesh says to give us, but the Holy Spirit gently whispers to keep going, keep praying, keep encouraging.

And right at that moment? Breakthrough. God always comes through!

I love how you crack me up and convict me at the same time... I have been there many times before (and sometimes end up there again.) It IS all about connection. And so glad He doesn't give up on me!

Your post reminds me of one of the Psalms when it says for us not to put (all) our trust in men/horses/chariots but in God. It is so hard sometimes, especially as a relationally driven woman!

I understand where you are coming from and am so grateful that you got safely home. I know God will continue to guide and show you how to roll with the punches, even when others let us down.

So encouraging. And such an important reminder that God is sovereign and wayyy above any of our life circumstances. I am a soon-to-be-first-time mama (twelve weeks-- but who's counting?!?) and while I am not "officially" on the payroll at our church, working as ministry apprentice is my job (Just working for Jesus dollars, not people dollars right now)

I have been praying to discernment as we transition into this new season of life, and it is great to have the support of a wonderful staff to encourage us along the way. Thanks for blessing me today!

Great lesson for all of us! Sometimes I get caught up writing for others instead of Jesus... But our Sweet Lord always gently brings me back around reminding me that it doesn't matter if I have zero comments or 30... HIS thoughts are the ones that truly matter.

Congrats on reading your 200th blog post milestone-- I recently made it to 250 and am prayerful that God has many more in store for both of us.

Thankful I found you on SDG link-up :-) Blessings, sister!

Wonderful thoughts. I got goosebumps all over! What a sweet and loving reminder of how Christ adores us.

Just the thought makes me tear up a bit-- and swoon. :-) Blessings to you!

Thank you for this post! I struggle sometimes to remember that not only I can't do it alone, but I am not even supposed to :-) Thankful that God made us to live in community with one another. So glad I stopped by from SDG! Blessings to you my sister!

Falling into a rut is so easy! It's getting out that is the issue :-) When I find myself in a rut, I have to recharge via Jesus-- I just went on a sabbatical this weekend. He pulled me up and helped me to press onward. Thanks for these great words, Alecia!

Thanks for this reminder, Stefanie! These guidelines have a special place in my heart-- in fact, my first blog was called "More Precious than Rubies." And I totally agree that yes, this could also be applied to the church as Christ's bride! Blessings to you!
