The idea is to dehumanize the victim, to take sympathy away and thus, make him, and the entire LGBT community, by extension, into scapegoats, much like the Nazis did with the Jews. This attitude is at the root of violent hate crimes. To make the victim somehow less than human, gives the act of violence legitimacy. She, and her ilk, needs to be shut down. The voices of equality, of justice for hate crimes, need to be louder, to drown out this disease of hate.

Just disgusting.
