Hi Nicole! I'm so excited to have found your lovely blog! I live in your city too and my oldest daughter just started kinder at the waldorf charter school. While waldorf really matches our lifestyle in general, we kind of fell into the schooling. I am learning a lot about Waldorf now and am alternatively loving it and feeling a little overwhelmed/second guessing our school choice and so I love reading a bit about your experience.

As a side note, I just finished knitting my oldest a sweater using a pattern by the same designer as your project for C. I love her patterns and can't wait to see yours finished. Mine just needs buttons (and my girl has specific ideas for fabric-covered buttons so it may take a little while) and then I'll post some photos on my blog.
