GTA Web Development : ZIP.CA DVD Rental Service is a Scam

Hi Ann, I got your comment and called but you weren't there. As I explained in previous phone calls and emails sent to zip.ca, I used a Visa DEBIT card not a credit card. My bank manager confirmed with me that this is NOT an authorization. It is an actual CHARGE on my account. Despite what your merchant processor is telling you, you charged my account. It is now 7 days since you took the money from my account and if this was an authorization it would have been returned. I own credit cards... I know how authorizations work. This is not a credit card, it's a VISA DEBIT CARD. It is not a pre-paid card either. I don't know how many other ways I can explain it. The bank, my visa provider, looked at my account and confirmed it is a charge. Does that mean the three people I spoke with at my bank, including my bank manager, are wrong? That zip.ca employees know better than the bank? You can send whatever information or contact info about the payment processor you want and I'll just include it with the fraud report. As I wrote in my last email to the customer support department, it doesn't matter at this point. I'll end up getting a refund through my bank and zip.ca will get charged a fee by your payment processor for the charge-back. I was just hoping to have this resolved without having to go that route as I wanted to remain with zip.

To take it even further... I used about 1000 swag bucks to enter a draw for a Nintendo Wii.. and I won. They shipped me a brand new Nintendo Wii w/ sports pack and a microsoft web cam within 3 days of when they drew my name.

You're right. I ended up writing follow-up articles to that with new findings. I've received about $50 in gift cards since using it. not bad
