I have been testing it on TechCrunch. For the most case, I like it however, you can't post pictures & videos, there is no live updating of the "new comment count", you can not lock the privacy to hide the comments from someone on FB with the lock - it is all or nothing. I can picture a lot of people making multiple FB accounts to troll & spam with. It lists my old high school after my name which I graduated from 27 years ago (I am not affiliated with any networks),

I just saw this re-tweeted by an astronomer from the MacMillan Space Centre! It is incredible what bunk people will believe when they just have to do a little research. The math isn't all that hard but it is very easy to look at a perpetual calendar.

The Gregorian calendar repeats itself every 28 years therefore even if it didn't happen in 1993 and 1999 it did in 1982. The traditional Chinese calendar known as the Taichu has a 19 year cycle so it would have happened in 1991 however, the Taichu does not allow for a 31 day month which would be required for a "money bag" so it would be impossible.

If it's braking system ever failed and it free-wheeled above the speed of sound (640 mph) the trailing blades could be potentially be hit by sonic booms produced by the first blade. This would most likely cause its destruction (if it lasted long enough for this to happen). It would also make it almost impossible to stop or repair as someone would have to enter a ring of lethal sonic booms.

Are my calculations correct? Circumference (C) = Diameter * Pi C: 2780.30715 ft. (C * RPM * 60) / 5280 = MPH (2780.30715 * 20 * 60) / 5280 = 631.89 It would seem to me at 8mph short of the speed of sound that it would rip itself to bits in no time.

One way to help alleviate the troll problem I suspect would be to force everyone to use their real name or at least the same pseudonym on all sites. I realize that this is impossible and would not be popular but it is way too easy to become someone else when you become too unpopular or have multiple pseudos to flame with.

Using a Re-Captcha makes me feel that my tiny inconvenience is being put to good use. Other systems make me feel well... inconvenienced. Unless they can add similar benefits to the Re-Captcha, I am going to grumble when it is used.

There is nothing arrogant about trying to improve on a open UI. That is why it is open. Personally, I like Android's stock experience if only for the fact that Rogers (Canada) HTC Magic customers have been waiting since January for 2.1 because of Sense.
