I dare say your poems are better quality than mine (especially since I'm have to kep churning them out). In a few weeks I'll probably be writing limericks. :(

And I might take part in the Post-It notes. I generally like short poems, so it will probably be perfect.

Sounds like a lot of work, Sean. I've decided, and posted publically, that I want to write a poem a day this year. It's day three, and I'm struggling. :) But I haven't given up yet.

Good luck keeping things going.

Also, on another page, you state that the Great Dividing Range is the 3rd longest in the world while here you say it is the 4th longest. Is it shrinking?

Ummm... the rivers that flow eastwards in NSW, VIC and QLD go the the Pacific Ocean. The ones that flow westwards go into the Murray Darling Basin.

The first thing that should be done is making it a crime to not report a crime. I can't understand how being a 'Whistle Blower' ever came to be a bad thing.

The fact that the church is allowed to have an internal system for handling criminal matters is beyond belief. Next thing you know they'll want to control other things that should really be left in the hands of the authorities, like marriage and... Oh, wait.

It's about time religious organisations lived by the same rules as the rest of us.

If you'd like the books to review (though you do already have #2-- hows that going BTW? and how's your own writing going? :)-- or my other book, The Brightest Light, let me know. The Brightest Light will hopefully be available in paperback soon if you'd prefer...

Just thought I'd let everyone know that all four books in the series are now available on Amazon.

I haven't read it, though I think I've got it around somewhere in a book of short stories.

I think most of Dicks writing (certainly the stuff I've read) lacks a lot in terms of style. Like most of those golden age guys, I think, he made his name on ideas, not actual writing skills. (Hows that for opening a can of worms?)

I don't mind when books do that, simply because I do wait. (And I can't really complain seeing my books end on cliff hangers.) I forget too many details if I read then as released. I actually read the first book of The Wheel of time 5 times. And the second book 4 times. And the third book 3 times and... At the end of book 5 I decided I'd wait until they were all released. Now the idead of reading all 23 of them is very daunting. Oh well, I'll get there.
