Yes! These things are hardly ever mentioned. So when they are, I remember!

Such as peeing- is in The Girl of Fire and Thorns
Period- Under the Never Sky
Pony tail - Legend

But yes, so rare to see. I know I've seen peeing in a couple other but I can't remember which books. I don't think I've ever seen toothbrushing. Great post!

I LOOOOVE Dimitri! He's that broody type I like. Plus I'm older than you so I think that's part of why he appealed to me. Rose is still one of my favorite female characters because she's so sarcastic, badass and such a great friend. I loved this series but haven't been able to convince myself to read Bloodlines. I didn't like Sydney. Maybe one day...

That's interesting that this book is set with only one person's pov. It seems a lot of NA is from both the boy and girl character. I've only read a few NA books but I've found them enjoyable. Great interview! :)

Wow, how fun! I have actually never read a WWII book! *hides* I did buy All the Light We Cannot See for my cousin last year, does that count? ;) I'm interested in reading Wolf by Wolf because I've heard it's amazing! I hope you find MANY more WWII books you love and that many more are written.

I just got the first book in this series this year. I think because I have so many other books to read, I hope/plan to binge read it once the last book is released next year. I have only read The Scorpio Races but I loved it to pieces. I hope that I like this series too! But, you never know. I've had many other anticipated books this year fall flat for me. Here's hoping.

What a great idea for a post! By the way, I am DYING to get my hands on a UK copy of The Sorcerer to the Crown. I'll probably ask for it for Christmas since I've spent SO much money on book lately. September and October are killing the wallet. I like that you included books of different genres. I primarily read fantasy but I do branch out into contemporary sometimes. I haven't heard of many of these books, which is good because that's how I find new books. :D
