I played the demo and I loved it but I know this game isnt for everyone. Some guys I know approached the demo as a TPS and were very disappointed, other thought it would be more fire emblem esque and were disappointed. Others didnt like the very overt American theme and were disappointed. Others loved it and bought it day 1! The gaming landscape today is that if a game doesnt conform to certain archtypes it will be scored very low by certain parities because they cant ger past their disappointment with the game not being what they wanted or just not bothering to learn the playstyle. I am happy with that score because it indicates to me a quality experience but buyer beware it may not be your cup of tea. Allow me to explain, one of the easiest ways to gain presence in the social mind share is through controversy. Sure Nintendo "Will" lose some sales but in the long run you will have a segment which will wonder what all the fuss is about and either download the demo game, buy it or at least be talking about it. There will also be another segment IE the media, who will undoubtedly pick this up to defend WW. The possibility of using this to enhance sales or presence is enormous. Also there is another thing to consider, GG is a relatively new thing. STEAM has probably been in development much longer than GG. I wouldnt be surprised if the VA's were recorded way before that. Nintendo also NEVER advertised that he was in the game which for a celebrity is kind of odd so this indicates that they were aware what was going on. It is unfortunate that people are getting upset about this issue but ladies and gents that is politics. Dismissing their opinions even if we do not agree with them makes us weaker not stronger. Considering that a lot of people swore off EA then turned around to buy DA: I, I doubt this outrage will last. It's just a flash in the pan, a common occurrence with young passionate people.
