HillBuzz.org : QUESTION: Why Did Jack Ryan Drop Out of Illinois Senate Race in 2004 (which paved the way for Obama'

Didn't the idiot Cocktail Party ask Mike Ditka to run after they forced Jack Ryan out? If he had agreed, Obummer would still be voting "Present" in the Illinois Senate and only stealing from there.

HillBuzz.org : 9-9-9 in a Nutshell

You probbably remember that Herman's talk radio stint began as a fill-in for Neal Boortz, one of the "fair Tax authors. One of the conditions of the Fair Tax stipulations is the repeal of the 16th Amendment in order that we won't have an imcome tax system that can contain 60,000 pages of political favors. Because of the time required to get the repeal amendment ratified, a transitional plan would probably be needed. That is what I hope the true purpose of the 9-9-9 plan would be, a precursor or at worst a fall-back position that would at least get rid of the politicrats' use of the current system to enrich themselves and their cronies.

Breitbart.tv : Sarah Palin Throws Support Behind GOProud Participation at CPAC

Whose moral basis? Al-Quaida? Hassidic Jews? Communists? Wahabbists? Buddists? Jim Jones? Scientologists? Louis Farrakhan ? Mormons? Shintoists? The Ku Klux Klan? The John Birch Society? Malcom X? Wiccans? Russian Orthodox? Roman Catholic? Hindus? One of the Amerindian relegions? Aztecs? Mayans? FreeWill Baptists? Some Appalachian church that passes snakes? Muslim Brotherhood? Jimmy Swaggart? Charles Manson? Branch Davidians? Gaia? Your local Unitarian-Universalist Congregation? Your local Baptist Bible Thumper? or Koran Thumper? I believe in laws based on reason that protect the individual from harm, coercion, and violence while leaving the person to interact freely with others in any manner that is mutually acceptable. I also believe in enforcable contracts that could be made iron-clad by simple language and prior court approval and that is where I believe the future of civil union law should go. France (btw, I don't like the french, and yes I've lived there) are way ahead of us on that one. I'll leave you with two quotes: “Forgive him, Caesar – he is a barbarian and considers that the customs of his tribe are the laws of nature.” G.B.Shaw, Caesar and Cleopatra. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." William Shakepeare, Hamlet Act 1 Scene 5

Nothing about government preferences or set-asides has anything to do with morality. Morals are not the business of government except as to the interaction of individuals on a basis of physical or financial harm. Religion is the arbiter of morality on a personal level and very useful for a civil society. I don't see how the government usurpation of a religious right is either moral or ethical.

Let's just gt the government out of marriage altogether. Marriage should be a religious rite with no government involvement whatsoever, no preferences, allowances, tax or other inducements or penalties. Non-contestable civil union pre-nup contracts replacing all common law family courts.

Big Journalism : Dear Tides Founder: Why Does Soros Hate the Right?

Soros? We are talking about Nazi-Collaborator Soros, right? The currency manipulator? He uses that Nazi mind trick of the Left to paint Nazis as right-wing. Nazi comes from Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers Party) that (socialist) seems to be what he is working for not against. Words and definitions people, talk about Newspeak, he is a master of it.

Big Government : John McCain, Purveyor of Mid-term Kryptonite

Sarah Palin is a huntress. Our own embodiment of Diana (Artemis). An opponent would do well to study the skill set of successful huntresses and markswomen. She wasn't trained on a game ranch or safari where the shooter is guided and backed up by a real hunter who snickers to him(her)self as they watch and protect the amateur, she is the real thing. She calls her compatriots "mama grizzlys" with no thought of Teddy Bears. Her prey thinks they are lords of their domain, but jackals make mistakes.

NewsReal Blog : Should Steele Stay or Should He Go?

I am no fan of Steele. However, in this case he was right, if perhaps too brief. Because Obamination has p*ssed in the wheaties and is going to lose it on purpose. After saying we had to get out of Iraq to concentrate on "the good war", after nation building in a country that does not understand the concept of "nation", after sending Eikenberry and Holbrooke to counteract the very concept of COIN by undermining confidence in the central government, after the "we will kill no enemy before it's time (never if possible)" ROE, after "courageous restraint" (attepted suicide) commendations, and after announcing our surrender (withdrawal) date, it is time for the rethuglicans to hang this re-engineered clusterf*ck on Obamination, or it will be hung on them (blame Bush!) when this masterplan of theirs to bring us down a notch comes to fruition.

NewsReal Blog : Ralph Peters Cheap Shots General Petraeus

Back in the day (MAC-V) we had a saying, "When you have them by the b*lls, their hearts and minds will follow." But the Democretins wanted us to lose, so we got a straegy that guaranteed we would. Let's invoke the Geneva Convention and anyone not wearing identifying insignia carrying a weapon is shot out of hand. For an object lesson in how COIN works for indigenous peoples look up Montagnards. They allied with us and were abandoned.

Also part o the COIN strategy is for the locals to trust their government more than the insurgents. When we have Eikenberry and Holbrooke over there calling the government illegitimate, how can we accomplish that? I met Peters when he was an enlisted man in West Germany, I find that he is more pragmatic and less politically correct than ay general.

Sorry John but COIN's main goal is to convince the locals we are on their side. As long as Eikenberry and Holbrooke denigrate the local leadership and call it legitimate, just how do you think that can work? Also if the locals are scared of what the "insurgents" will do to them if they come to our side, but not scared of us if they help the "insurgents", it seems that in one of the most dangerous parts of the world that safety lies in assisting the threatening side. On top of that, we have already announced we are leaving. Why side against the ones that are staying?
