Something inspired by a work of fiction. A written work created by a fan of a fiction, usually taking place in the same universe.

This feels more like another story that happens to take place in the same universe. You could leave out the ponies and it would still be a story.

It's not bad, it's just often rather dry.

This story is still updating? Wow. To tell you the truth, I found the story a bit dry the first time I read it. It didn't feel like the story was going particularly anywhere, and it just became tiring to read.

It has a number of good elements, but on the whole, it just feels to wrapped up in itself. It feels less like fanfiction, and more like a novel that used some themes from the show.

Also, LDS references aren't that funny at this point.

Game: Fighting is Magic, despite my lack of playing it.
And one item of interest that doesn't fall into any of these categories: Those season two posters.

I have a necklace and a T-shirt that I wear often, I once even wore it too a work picnic. My friends and family know, I've even gotten a couple people into the show.

I love everything about the community! I love the art, the music, the animation, the writing, the people, it's all amazing!

More that it was a violation of trust. Info included in the leak was going to be used for upcoming BSU's. The main reason there wasn't an open beta: The community is way to large, they'd be getting non-stop feedback and complaints, which is why they had a closed beta. It's all information that they've said before, just it can be hard to recount everything when things go awry.
