Ron Edmondson : I Could Battle an Addiction to Pornography

Ron, I will be honest with you and admit that I too could be addicted. It is so easy to "just look" this one time. Then before you know it, you gaze and then stare and then it consumes you. Thank you for admitting this so that others know they aren't the only ones.

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Kindle, Nook, iPad, and Reader Compared

I agree, my wife and I are able to read out of one library now that I have the iPad and the nook. With the nook you can go to the store and read books for free, I have not tried that from the iPad yet.

Thanks for this blog. I have a similar reading plan but I don't seem to read as often or as much as you do. I am building on it. Thanks for listing some of the things you read, I'm sure that we can all add to our lists.

Good early review of the new kindle. I like the compare and contrast that you showed with the 2 and the iPad.

Michael Hyatt Blog : Your To-Do List as a Personal Command Center

I can see your point about the laptop, it is easier than typing on the screen on the iPad. I did my blog post this morning from my iPad today. It was good but I have to learn to type a different way in order to speed up. So far I am loving what I can do with it and have gotten keynote and pages and a journal app for it.

Michael, do you find Things easier to use with your iPad versus your iPhone. I would be interested to know what apps you find most helpful and productive for the iPad. (yes, I just got one and am testing some for myself). So far, I am questioning the need to carry a laptop as much.

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Future of Publishing

I have seen a couple of these videos that shows a reversal. It is very effective to make you think about the situation. I like what is said about the publishing in this video. As I continue to read more and more, it is nice to see that I have options to read on multiple platforms. Thanks for trying to stay ahead of the game.

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Third Ingredient of a Successful Blog

This is very useful for me at the moment. I am on the hosted wordpress and have been looking into going to a self-hosted site. Having a copy of your Standard Theme would greatly help me once I go to the self-hosted wordpress. My recent post Self-Improvement: What’s the big deal?

Michael Hyatt Blog : Shift: The Essence of Leadership

Lindsey, I understand what you are saying about overused, but think of it this way. In the late 80's or early 90's, Chevrolet completely redesigned the look of it's pickups inside and out. It was a radical change in looks and feel, but it was still a Chevy truck none the less. Michael is going to write about leadership and even if it is a radical new idea it is still leadership none the less. My recent post Self-Improvement: What’s the big deal?

I like that suggestion John. That is creative. Michael, if you play your cards right, then you can have this one written for you like John Maxwell did his last book.
Michael Hyatt Blog : Shift: The Essence of Leadership

"If you are happy with the status quo, you don’t need a leader. But the moment you want something to change—to shift—that’s when you need to bring in a leader." I really like this quote Michael. It is so true. I like the title of the book and will look forward to reading more about it and ultimately the book itself. My recent post Self-Improvement: What’s the big deal?

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Five Marks of Authentic Leadership

Michael, I really like the analogy that you used for influence and influenza. You really do "catch" what a great leader is doing and you want to be a part of it. I wrote about this in my blog this morning too. I think that one thing that makes people want to follow a great leader is that they know that they leader will do the right thing. I also believe that a leader has enthusiasm that is catchy too. My recent post The power of a decision
