I got married too young, I chose a husband before I even knew who I was as an individual. Once I made the decision to have the affair I knew I would get a divorce, I had no intention of trying to carry on with my marriage as if the affair never happened. The belief in God seems to be slowly morphing into a belief in the good of people and not so much the good of a singular being that is God. A lot of people in their 20's and 30's share the exact view you wrote about, and I honestly think its a really good belief system.
