HI Bill,

thanks for getting in touch.

As per feedback to Patrick, we don't have any spare capacity at the moment. We'll hopefully be able to tackle a further pro-bono project in the late Autumn (Fall).

I took a quick look at your site - as it's WordPress based, and structure (with the exception of the forums) looks fairly standard, you may be able to get a quick and effective solution by purchasing a suitable 'off the shelf' theme.

A good theme from a specialist WordPress company should only cost around $100.

Cheers,
Roger

Hi Patrick,

thanks for getting in touch.

We are about to launch the site we built for the Institute for Human and Community Development schools in Haiti.

Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to take on more pro-bono work until later on in the year (our current schedules are just too tight).

I'll review our commitments in late summer, and let you know if we able to help.

Kind regards,
Roger

Update: We're currently investigating PixelNovel, a version control tool for Photoshop. PixelNovel integrates with our Beanstalk SVN repository, allowing different versions of our Photoshop designs to be saved and managed using the same system we use for our development code.

On the design side, we've also taken a quick look at Phoenix, an online (and free) design package from aviary.com. Aviary Phoenix offers a lot of Photoshop type functionality, and could be a useful alternative for creating web graphics and page layouts.

Really pleased to announce we are building a website for the Institute for Human and Community Development (IHCD) schools in Haiti.

The schools provide education, healthcare and support for abused (Restavek) and poor children in Haiti.

I'll blog about the project in more detail separately.
